DANIELLE COATES
Danielle primarily works on project design, concept development, and production at Studio Aorta. She has worked with educational institutions and museums for branding, graphic design, and exhibition coordination.
Since coming to Studio Aorta directly from graduate school, she has grown from an initial role as a primarily production graphic designer into a project leader, and has helped expand the studio's client base.
She is actively involved in arts-based activism, and her personal background has a strong influence on her perspectives on art and design. Her graduate thesis was an exhibition that explored the intersection of two overlapping social movements in the 1960's, Asian American Student Activists and Black Power; a tribute to her own personal heritage.
